PROCEDURAL STEPS

  1. Open EngView resizable design EVC62001 Multiple-Shelf Display.evr.
  1. Combine the 3D drawings of Tray and Barrier 1: in the Shelves_3D Presenter tab of the graphical area, insert the Barrier 1_3D Presenter drawing in reference to the Tray, setting the following properties in the Folding Part Properties dialog box: in the Alignment tab, under Alignment with Base, in Y Offset enter 100, and then click OK.
  1. Insert the selected part side: On the 3D Presenter toolbar, click Insert Part, and in the dialog box that appears select the Shelf 3D presenter part. Then select the panel to attach. In the Folding Part Properties dialog box that appears, under Inserted Part, in Rotation enter 180. In the Alignment tab, under Alignment with Base, in Y Offset enter ShBO, and then click OK. In the Array transformation tab, in the Y Axis area, click Number of parts; in Count type NShelves; and in D1 enter SHDist.
  1. In the 3D Objects dialog box, click the Side_Wall_3DPresenter tab.
  2. Select the panel's edge and drag it into the 3D work area.
  3. Right-click the panel, and then click Properties.
  4. Under Inserted Part, in Z axis enter 90 degrees; in X Offset type DC1-200; and then click OK.
  5. In the 3D Objects dialog box, click the Side_Wall_3D_Presenter tab.
  6. Select the panel's edge and drag it into the 3D work area.
  7. Right-click the panel, and then click Properties.
  8. In the Alignment tab, click Align to rear side. In X-Offset, type DC-200.
  9. Close the 3D Objects dialog box.
  10. In the tabular area, click the Usage phase, and then right-click Step 1; then click Insert step below on the context menu.
  11. In the contextual edit bar, in Action select Parallel Move; in Distance type 200.
  12. In the 3D work area, click the opposite vertical panel.
  13. In the contextual edit bar, in Action select Parallel Move; in Distance type –200.
  14. In the 3D work area, select the horizontal shelves.
  15. In the contextual edit bar, in Action select Construct; in New phase, select Assemble.
  16. In the tabular area, click the Usage phase, and then right-click Step 1; then click Insert step below on the context menu.
  17. From Step 1, drag the Construct Shelf action to Step 2.
  18. Create a new step, below Step 3.
  19. In the 3D work area, select the vertical panels.
  20. In the contextual edit bar, in Action select Construct; in New Phase select Usage.
  21. Use the navigation bar to play back the folding sequence and review it.
