Editing design parameters

1. In the tabular area, click the Cost Estimator tab, in the table, right-click, and then click Edit Current Cost Model.

The Edit Current Cost Model dialog box appears.

2. Select the standard parameter you want to edit, right-click, and then click Properties.

The Standard Parameter Properties dialog box appears.

3. In Name, enter a name for the parameter; in Expression, enter an expression.
4. (Optional) In Min and Max, enter a range of values that the parameter may take.
5. (Optional) In Description, write a note about the parameter.
6. (Optional) In Formatting, enter a formatting pattern.
7. To edit other parameters, repeat Steps 2–6.

NOTE: An alternative way of editing a parameter is by double-clicking into its fields that you want to edit: After double-clicking it the field becomes editable and you can change its value as you want it to be.
