Converting ellipses to arcs

When you convert an ellipse to arcs, it is deleted and replaced by a series of arcs in the shape of the original ellipse.

To convert an ellipse to arcs

• Rest your pointer over the ellipse to highlight it, right-click, and then click Convert to arcs on the context menu.

NOTE: You can also convert to arcs a group of selected Bézier curves, ellipses, elliptical arcs and/or true-type text letter curves: select the objects, right-click, and then click Convert to arcs on context menu.
