Look in Shows the current location. Use the arrow and the buttons to the right to browse to another location. To open a file, either (1) double-click it, or (2) select it, and then click OK.

File name Displays the name of the selected file.

Files of type Specifies the types of files to open.

Preview Select the check box to preview the selected file in the preview area.

To optimize a Library search

In the Open dialog box, you can use optimized search in the Library of Resizable Designs.

1. In Look in, browse to the folder from which you want to start the search.

TIP: The search starts from the currently open folder and includes all its sub-folders. To ensure an effective search, we recommend you start from a higher-level folder.

2. Click Search .

The File name box is renamed to Search filter.

3. In Search filter, type in a search criterion. For example, part of a file name or some file property.

NOTES

• In Search filter, typing is not case-sensitive.
• You can view and edit the properties of a file when it is opened: on the File menu, click File Properties. In Search filter, you can enter only file properties that have already been recorded into the file.

The files that meet the criterion you entered appear in the table as you type.

4. (Optional) If too many files are listed that meet the search criterion, refine the search by typing in further criteria.
5. To open the file that you want, select it, and then click OK.
