Latest EngView Package & Display Designer Release with New Features for Enhanced Usability

At EngView, we believe that the tools you wield empower your creativity, enhancing not only your efficiency but the way you bring ideas to life. With this vision guiding us, we’re excited to announce the latest release of EngView Package & Display Designer.

With our commitment to a continuous delivery model, we release a new version of our packaging software every couple of months. This approach ensures our customers receive the latest technological advancements as soon as they are developed and tested.

The latest release introduces several usability enhancements and bug fixes aimed at improving your design experience. Here are some of the standout features in this version:

Search in Tool Options

Every customer has unique production capabilities and ways of using our software. That's why we offer a wide range of customization options—whether it's switching between metric and imperial units, choosing a light or dark theme, or configuring custom line styles. In this release, we've reorganized all customization options into a more intuitive tree structure, making it easier to find the settings you need. You can even search directly within Tool Options to save time.

Master Canvas – Streamlined One-Up Rearrangement

When working in Master Canvas, designers now have the ability to quickly rearrange one-ups during the design process, creating a cleaner, more organized workspace. This helps ensure easier adjustments and resizing of one-ups, allowing for a smoother design experience.

Cost Model Usability Improvement

To prevent accidental loss of work, we’ve introduced warnings for unsaved data. Now, if a designer mistakenly presses the escape button, they’ll be alerted, reducing the chances of losing important changes.

Merge Overlapping Die-Lines in the Layout

For users working in Adobe Illustrator with the Step and Repeat functionality, we’ve added an option to merge overlapping die-lines. This optimization ensures that the PDFs sent to the plotter are prepared for efficient cutting. While this feature is ideal for users without our CAM module, those with the module will have additional path optimization features available.

We are proud to continuously evolve EngView to meet your needs, and we believe these new features will make your design process smoother and more efficient. Upgrade today to take full advantage of the new tools and stay ahead in packaging design!
