Creating actions

Actions can be created only in steps and only in the tabular area.

To create actions in a single-part folding sequence

  1. In the tabular area, select the step that you want.
  2. In the graphical area, click the panel that you want.

A contextual edit bar appears above the graphical area.

  1. In the contextual edit bar, in Action select an action: Fold or Prefold or Deform.
  2. Do any of the following:

NOTE: You can assign actions to panels also in the tabular area. Select the row for a panel, and then in the drop-down list that opens in the Action column assign the action that you want. Then in the Angle column enter a value for the angle, and then press ENTER.

To create actions in a multi-part folding and construction sequence

  1. In the graphical area, click an inserted part.

A contextual edit bar appears above the graphical area.

  1. Consider your situation:

NOTE: The Deconstructing action executes the steps of the inserted part up to the beginning of the selected phase. Constructing executes the steps of the inserted part up to the end of the selected phase.

  1. Depending on whether you have chosen A. or B., type values for Distance and Angle, respectively New Phase; then press ENTER.
