Removing project styles

NOTE: You cannot remove default styles — that is, the style that are set to appear automatically in every new project. For details, see Creating global styles.

To add/remove project styles

1. In the tabular area, click the Styles tab.
2. Select the style you want to remove.
3. Right-click, and then do any of the following:

• Click Delete style.
• Click Edit all styles. In the Edit Styles dialog box that appears, select the style you want to delete in the Styles list, and then click Delete.

Removing unnecessary styles in a project

You can remove styles that you do not use in a project — in the tabular area these are marked by the object selection symbol in front of them. If you choose to remove a style that is currently used in a project, you must associate the objects that are currently in this style to another style.

To associate styles to other styles

1. After you've selected a style to remove, a dialog box appears, prompting you to associate the objects that use the style with another style.

2. In the list, select a new style with which to associate the objects, and then click OK.
