Meet Christian Theiss – The New CEO of EngView Germany

We are excited to announce that Christian Theiss has been appointed as the new CEO of EngView Systems GmbH!

Christian has been a valuable part of our team for over three years, bringing dedication, expertise, and a strong vision for growth. In his new role, he will focus on expanding our customer base in the D-A-CH region, strengthening relationships with partners, and driving the sales of EngView packaging solutions.

Beyond sales, Christian is passionate about customer success. He works closely with clients to understand their needs and provide the custom-tailored solutions, offering his hands-on expertise and industry knowledge. He represents EngView at major trade fairs, industry events, and strategic partnerships, further solidifying the company’s presence in the market.

With a strong commitment to innovation, he works closely with marketing and product management teams, providing valuable market insights to help shape the future of our solutions. Additionally, he will continue EngView’s efforts in educating students, collaborating with schools and universities to train the next generation of professionals.

To get to know Christian better, we asked him a few questions about his vision, goals, and what excites him most about his new role. From industry insights to personal interests, here’s what he had to say!

First of all, congratulations on your promotion, Christian! You started your career in sales? Why choose this field? 

‘’I've always enjoyed connecting with new people and communicating easily. I love solving problems and finding the right solutions for customers, which I believe is what sales is all about.’’

What is your favorite part of sales?

‘’Nothing beats receiving positive feedback about my service and our products — it’s incredibly rewarding.’’

As Managing Director, what are your key priorities for EngView Systems GmbH? 

‘’Showcasing that we are the trusted partner of choice, offering the best and most effective solutions. Our goal is to foster strong relationships, build lasting trust, and ensure businesses fully recognize the value of collaborating with us.’’

The packaging and manufacturing industries are rapidly evolving. How do you ensure EngView stays ahead of the competition? 

‘’Gathering feedback from customers is essential, as they are the true experts in packaging. The more insights we receive, the better we understand their needs, allowing us to continuously refine and enhance our product.’’

What metrics determine the success of a sales team? 

‘’A thorough understanding of the customer's needs and pains, combined with a product that solves real industry problems — that’s what makes a successful sales team and this is what EngView is about.’’

How do you view the relationship between sales, marketing, and advertising?

‘’I see sales, marketing, and advertising as connected components that work together to drive business success. Marketing plays a key role in creating awareness and generating interest in a product or service. Advertising amplifies that message, reaching a wider audience and driving engagement. Sales then take over by building relationships, understanding customer needs, and closing deals. All three functions need to be aligned to ensure a seamless experience for the customer and maximize overall effectiveness.’’ 

How Do You Motivate Yourself?

‘’My faith, my family, my friends and my team are my greatest sources of motivation.’’

What hobbies do you have outside of work?

‘’I stay active by doing sports every day and spending time with my people — that’s how I keep my mind clear and balanced.’’
