In automatic layout, the arraying of the pieces of packaging (layout 1ups) onto the sheet is done via a predefined structure (template) of rows and columns. You can choose the template and then add corrections to the arrangement. The automation is done in a five-step wizard: first, the positions and orientations of the four initial parts are defined, followed by options of sheet definition, additional corrections and optimization. In the wizard, the four layout 1ups are arrayed in two rows and two columns, with the first two parts placed in the first row, and the second two in the second row, above the first one.
If your layout requires a complicated or nontypical situation and placement of 1ups, you can define the layout manually.
