Creating print mark templates

About print mark templates

A print mark template is an .evd drawing that contains pre-positioned print marks. Applying print mark templates automates the positioning of print marks and helps you save time.

Depending on the type of object that you want to align the print marks — cutting box, sheet or dieboard — there are two approaches to positioning print marks.

To create a print mark template

  1. Start a new blank drawing.
  2. Consider your situation:
  1. Apply the print mark standards that you want the template to carry.
  2. Save the drawing in the dedicated directory — C:\EngViewWork7\Settings\Print Marks\Templates.

NOTE: You can create a template by modifying an existing one. To do so, (1) open a template from the directory, (2) add or remove print marks to the drawing, and then (3) save the drawing as a new file.
