Print marks
About print marks
Print marks are production-stage symbols that
give producers guidance as to trimming, sheet alignment, proofs calibration,
and other production-related operations. You can place print marks on
1up and layout drawings.
The print mark functionality consists in:
- Standards, in which you draw the individual print marks and set
the places along the drawing where the program places them. Then,
to use them in 1up and layout drawings, you must position them one
by one.
- Templates, which are print marks attached in a particular pattern
that you can apply directly onto 1up and layout drawings, thus automating
the positioning of print marks and saving time.
