Style symbols
You can associate symbols to styles to make
the objects more easily recognizable on the screen, in print drawings
and in exported files. Primarily, the use of symbols serves two goals:
- It makes easier the reading of black-and-white drawings and exported
files, since the symbol associated to a style makes it easier to recognize
the object in that style in a black-and-white media.
- The use of style symbols makes it possible for color-blind people
to orient themselves in drawings, both on- and off-screen.
On the following picture, symbols are associated
to the objects in the Cutting and Creasing styles.
Associated to styles, the symbols indicate the
different types of objects, making them easily detectable on black-and-white
media and by color-blind people.
